Robert D. Jacobs MD

Dr. Jacobs is a Board Certified Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon accomplished in all aspects of the specialty, both medical and surgical. He is on the surgical staff at Tri-City Medical Center, and North Coast Surgery Center.

He is a native of Southern California, born and raised in Los Angeles where he attended college and medical school at UCLA, graduating with honors.  He trained at UCSD in ENT/Head and Neck Surgery and then entered private practice at his current office in Oceanside.

His wife, Darlene Katz, a retired immunologist, is a professional artist showing in several local galleries. His two children are also both doctors. His son is an internal medicine and health policy specialist for the state of Maryland and his daughter is a Head and Neck surgeon specializing in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in Portland, Oregon.

When he isn’t working, Dr. Jacobs is outdoors on a hike or bike ride, gardening or attending an art show or gallery supporting his wife. He loves travel and photography, and shares these images in the office for everyone to enjoy.
