He opened his practice in conjunction with ENT associates in January 1999, and is committed to offering professional service and care to his patients.

He is licensed in the State of California as an Audiologist (AU 1896) and a Hearing Aid Dispenser (HA 3886). He also holds the certificate of clinical competence in audiology (CCC-A) with the American Speech and Hearing Association.

We are the only clinic in North County with a full-time Audiologist. When you select our clinic, you are guaranteed that the prescription, fitting, and follow-up, will be conducted by an Audiologist, not a hearing aid dispenser. We offer a full range of audiological testing and hearing aid fitting services.

Our clinic uses the newest prescription methods and is equipped with the most advanced fitting technology. The result is a prescription for a hearing aid circuit, which will be designed specifically for your hearing loss.

The selection of appropriate hearing aids is extremely individual and depends on a multitude of factors. A thorough assessment of a person’s needs and preferences is essential for choosing the right device. After discussion with you, Sean will make recommendations based on your hearing test results, personal situation and preferences for style and features.

Not everyone will achieve the same results with a given hearing aid because of the massive variations in the clarity of the remaining hearing and the processing abilities of the brain in different individuals.

Our clinic offers all the makes of hearing aids available in the United States. This includes the complete range of sizes, hearing aid circuit designs and shell styles. We have hearing aid circuits for every price range, from the lowest cost conventional hearing aids, to the newest most advanced digital hearing aids.

Digital hearing aids, which process sound using a computer chip are becoming increasing popular as well as much more affordable. Digital aids are known for their clean clear sound and low levels of distortion. Some hearing aids have special microphone systems to help reduce background noise. Others have multiple programs which the user can select depending on the situation using a remote control or memory button. For those who prefer not to fuss with such features there are hearing aids, which are fully automatic.

Hearing aid costs vary widely depending on the brand, style and technology level chosen. Typically they may range between $1000 and $3000 for one hearing aid and $2000 to $6000 for a pair. The cost of hearing aids that are right for you can only be determined after a hearing test and needs assessment with a qualified professional.

We also offer a 60-day trial period and free lifetime cleaning and adjustments.
